When and Will I grow taller with these genetics and this age?

Im 16, 5’7 145 lbs.

My mom is pretty short, probably around 5’3-4, My dad is average I guess, 5’11.

I dont think I’ve grow much in the past year, my shoe size has stayed relatively the same.

Do you guys think I will grow anymore?

Answer #1

u could be done you probably have another inch or so to grow. and you cant tell anything with genes unless you have an entire family history and all

Answer #2

there is a big chance that you will still grow. a lot of guys grow their final few inches when their between 16 and 20. you could grow a bit more, but you could not. you’ll just have to wait and see.

Answer #3

No one can tell, before the age of 18, which is the average age of human growth. I myself grew from 5’8 to 6’3 in 2 years.

p.s. my mom is 5’7, and dad is 5’10.

Answer #4

probably 15-16, thats were the difference happened. It’s a genetic thing, my parents aren’t that tall, but I am and so is my brother, It’s probably cause my grandpa was 6”8.

Answer #5

According to research you stop growing, or grow very little around the years of 16 -17 then when you are 18 - 19 you may get another growth spurt. Though it is really all down to the DNA, as each person varies.

your mom is short and, for a man your dad is too. depends on how tall the rest of your family is to whether or not your done growing…im betting you wont get much taller though…

Answer #6

but theres still a chance I will grow?

Answer #7

okay thanks, and bazzem, when did you start that growth spurt, what age?
