Whats up with him...kindda confused...

Have been talking to a guy since the past three months…he really likes me and I like him like crazy…he asked me out once but I have not said anything…he knows that very soon I will say ‘yes’ and right now we are friends” but the problem is I cant decide whether he’s still over his ex-girl friend or not…but he’s still in touch with her…its been like 3yrs of his break up with her…still they meet and talk on phone…I really love him and dont wanna loose him at all…but the thing is he I don’t know for what reasons keeps praising about his ex and tells everything about her and I get soo pissed and jealous …I am confused cz if he wants “me” then why he keeps telling things about her and he would b knowing that no girl would like to hear about ones ex…he says that they are just friends now but then his indulgence…I don’t know how to deal with this and I am disturbed cz I am very insecure and on the other hand for the first time in life I have met such a man whom I am so fond of and love him like anything and I dont want to loose such a nice man …please help …any suggestions???

Firstly you have to remember that people can be friends with the exes. Men and women can be best friends even without any sign of a sexual attraction- just pure friends. I know this is hard as he once had a relationship with this women but it is something you have to try to work through.

I understand how jealous you must be, I am the exact same. but you’re not even going out yet so try not to worry about it just now. Once you are going out you can bring the subject up in conversation and explain your feelings but by telling him now you will look too pushy and it could drive him away.

One thing my Mum always tells me is “If they’re gonna do it (cheat) they’re gonna do, you can’t do anything about it”. Not saying he is going to but if he does- he does. Like I say don’t worry about it now, once you have been together a few months then tell him you feel uncomfortable with the situation. Good luck :)
