Me and this guy have had this thing for each other for awhile.

OMG RUN! Run, in the complete opposite direction from this guy, because he is a DOG! And, with all due respect to bright09light, he’s not trying to make you jealous and you should def not “step up and do something”.
I am speaking to you from a place of experience, so please trust me when I say that whatever you two may have had/almost had in the past is just that; the past. The fact that he has moved on to get another girlfriend, while still ‘confessing his undying love for you’, only proves that he doesn’t love her, OR you. This is painfully obvious by the way he only tells you nice things when he’s drunk, then denies them when sober! Sure, he may be confused, or he may like different things about both of you, blah blah blah. The ONLY truth here is that he is putting himself and his wants & needs before yours (and hers BTW). Please, go out and find a real man, one that WANTS you, ONLY you, ALL THE TIME! You deserve that! p.s. The only way to cut the bullsh*t out of your life is to cut the people trying to feed it to you.
