Answer #1

Both do ??

Answer #2

well thats what I thought & the latin root ,’liber’ means freedom

Answer #3

Well, I’m quite Liberal and I despise libertariansim. They seem very different to me. The former, for me, is about how to help the greatest number of people to the greatest good. The latter seems to me about individuals helping themselves to whatever they fancy, with almost no restrictions. Freedom for all, or freedom for ‘ME’!

Answer #4

If it helps, think of a libertarian as a conservative on drugs. Completely right-wing.

Answer #5

They are two different political perspectives entirely. Libertarians believe in minimal government, while liberals are better termed as ‘all intrusive dictatorial socialists’ by todays vernacular. If it’s any consolation, ‘conservative’ also means ‘all intrusive dictatorial socialist’ by todays vernacular.

Answer #6

so, would I be liberal? I believe in freedom of everything.
