whats muslims ethnicty?

Muslims don’t have ethnicity from what I read after googleing it

yeah i know..but my neigbor is muslim and she doesn’t know her ethnicty when we sign papers..thats why i asked

Muslims don’t have an ethnicity. Islam is a universal religion. It does not single out any race or group of people. When the Prophet Mohammed sent out the message of Islam, it was sent to the whole world. There are many Muslims around the world. From different colored people, to different backgrounds, they’re world wide. In the Quran, a verse states: “O People”.If islam was only for a race it would’ve said “O Arabs”. In the Islamic history, everyone was free to follow Islam, not only one race. There are colored Muslims, white Muslims, Asian Muslims, Italian Muslims, and everyday more people are reverting to Islam from different race, background, nationalities. :-)

Moslem or Islam is a religion just like Katholic or Budha. Everyone can follow it.

I wounder why that question is on some forms. at one time it was used to check that people were not being descrimated aganst on the account of race, but I think we make to big a deal of it. we have so many peoples from all over the world that it is best to enore it. I find peoples back ground interesting, I asked on of my doctorers what her back ground, she is Asian, she told me flat out that she was an American from Califorina, A friend of mine with an Italian back ground was asked if he would like to put an Italian flag out his reply was “why? I am an american.” People are upset becuse they feel that Mexicans are trying to change our culture, why they would do that I have no idea, things are so bad down there just now and they are trying to get a way from it why make this country like the one you are tring to leave? 100 years ago when people were comming over from centrial Europ they left behind their langue. Making a big deal of it seem to me to be a way to devide us up and set each aganst the other, unless we see these differences as a good thing that enriches us all. Maybe we should all just check other on the forms.
