whats an EP?

like refering to music like to a song

extended play…it contains more music that a single has, but isn’t quite long enough to be considered an album.

EP is an album that contains 3 to 5 songs

Its a extended play cd so it has more then one song on it but less then what would be considered a full album bands usually release ep’s to get support on their albums.

That explains why I kept wondering why SlipKnot’s self-titled album only had 5 songs.

usually, its CD’s bands create when they are trying to get Signed, so its probably the first thing they make, or some bands could have more then one, because they changed styles in music, or The first EP they created, didn’t do what the artist wanted.

Ep is just like an album or mixtapeee.
