Whats the difference between an Alligator and a Crocodile?

Answer #1

I believe their nose shapes and their teeth are different. Also, where they’re found and live, i’d have to look it up to be sure, though.

Answer #2

oh ok thanks

Answer #3

Alligator are smaller, live in America and China. Crocodiles are bigger and live in Africa and Australia. Crocodiles are much meaner and more apt to eat someone. There are also Salt water Crocodiles that grow very big. Alligators have a rounded snout, crocildes are more pointed snout.

Answer #4

ohhh I see , thank you c[=

Answer #5

yes it is the snouts, rounded for alligators, and pointed for crocodiles- both species live in the united states. crocodiles and alligators can be found in the everglades in florida.

alligators also live pretty much across the southern stares.

Answer #6

ohhh .. thank you :)

Answer #7

Yep, alligators tend to tolerate humans where crocs wont. That’s not saying an alligator wont rip your arm off, but they can co exist with people and not have many problems. Like in Florida, people end up with gators in their yard, they can typically go outside and do stuff (staying away from the gator though lol) and it wont necessarily attack them unless they get too close or it’s particularly hungry that day. I have a few friends there that get gators all the time and the gators never bother them.

Answer #8

ohhh dang .. I see .. LoL , I wouldnt want to be near any of the haha thank you :)

Answer #9
