whats a creative way to start a speech

with a question speeches are really cool when they start with a question and then like end the speech with an answer

“I’m sure all of you know who I am, but none of you know what I really want. I want to be YOUR senator. I want to help this school…” and so on and so forth. =]

I like maggots answer so I totally agree everything maggot wrote cause that something I would advise you to speak about!

Here are tips:

-Usually when I start up a speech I ask the crowd or people how they are doing to get a good start -I read the first part of my paper and start saying it but in a calm way but being serious -Look up at the people who are listening but look at individual people without laughing -Continue reading but trying to sound just like the way you wrote it sort of like story telling -Stop at each paragraph to say what the first part means so they can get a good idea of what your talking about

So what I would do to start off is make them laugh or do something that they wouldn’t expect you to do. also another way of starting it off would be just go up in front of them and say hey you know my name so say it with me it should get some reactions lol
