this was my question to why do you have it I dont understand my account was deleted and then you have the questions that I asked please help me understand???:(
Many people think CV is a fancy term for a resume but this is incorect.
CV is short for curriculum vitae or “course of life”
A resume is a one or two page summary. A CV is longer and more detailed, it is your life story (at least as far as your professional accomplishments go).
In academia one usually submits a CV while in business fields one usually submits a resume.

I think, fillet, (please someone correct me if im wrong) that in the UK the term ‘resume’ is not so common, but rather, CV.
It’s a resume - CV is for curriculum vitae.
My advice was regarding American usage. I understand that elsewhere things are done differently.
cv contains all your achievments. CV is needed for jobs/colleges/universities. take care
