What would you like to hear in a song?

I’m trying to write a song and I wanna know what would good to talk about in it like love, heatrbreak or something else I need ideas so the question is what would you like to hear in a song

Think of a story and tell it with the song. Don’t just be one of those people that whines about lost love and writes stupid, cryptic lyrics.

Play how your heart feels if it feels in love then write about that if it feels broken then write about that but if you are just happy with life then write about that

It is al depending, personally I like songs that have a life story because you know they are rare, what you hear the most is just break up and love and all that.

If you want it to be like almost every other song out there well then write about love and heartbreak and all that … but I would recommend being original and like haloyeah said write about life or friendship or something… Xo:)
