What would happen if I dyed my hair bleach blonde?

Okay, I’m asking this because if I do dye it I don’t want it to turn orange. I’ve only dyed my hair two times and the first just happened to be a red-brown color. It eventually faded after a couple of months so I decided I’d dye it again. It was supposed to be a light brown and it came out this funky brown-orange. It even turned my roots, which are ash blond, that color. That is currently my hair color and I want to dye it bleach blond but I think it’s going to turn this sick shade of orange. I want rid of the orange. I want to get rid of it without dying it some dark color because my Mom will not let me get anything darker than that stupid light brown that I hated in the first place. I don’t even know if she’ll go for the bleach blond but I’d like to know the effects and how to get rid of them if she allows me to do it.

Your best bet is to go to a hairdresser. It’ll take a while though, so make sure it’s what you really want. Hairdressers will probably suggest highlighting it to get to the desired color. I know that it was a huge mistake to bleach it by myself. I really payed for it. I bleached it probably over 7 times because my hair would just turn orange, it really is a huge pain to get out. and now my hair is back to being dark brown and is still frayed and I have to be very careful with it. Make sure if you bleach it that you are very gentle with it as hair may fall out, try not straightening your hair somedays, and getting deep conditioners.

Hope this helped, good luck.

hay. I used to have a gingery blondy coloured hair and I got told (by a hairdresser) even if I bleached it it would take 2/3 times t make it bleach bolnde and it would go orangy. so what I did was I just got high lighs and gradually got more and more and now im on whole head of bleach! but my friend went from basically black to bleach blonde and she done it herself, she just died it basically 2 times a week and then gave up because her roots were so bad and orange and it failed miserably. sorry if I have gone on too much ! :D just do it ! im dying my hair blonde purple and brown soon !

Try going to a salon instead, or if you’re set on doing it at home, get a strong bleach and then when your done the bleach make sure to put a permanent dye over top that seems to stop the orangyness.

So, I see where your coming from with this problem (bleaching your hair and getting different colors) I know exactly how you feel, I have dyed my hair about 11 times and im only 15 but if you bleach your hair make sure to ask what kind does the best bleaching or else you will get every color from white to black (like I did) so… yea I hope this helps
