What to do if infected?
I have a couple of cuts on my arm and their scabs are a yellow color and its sore and the skin is red around it. is it infected or just irritated???

After the next time you bathe, you need to clean and disinfect the cuts (alcohol, iodine, peroxide, etc.) make sure you get the disinfectant INSIDE the cuts (yes it will sting, deal with it) and apply Neosporin (the make it + pain relief). Depending on the size of te cuts, you may or may not be able to cover them with bandages.
These steps can provide a significant and sometimes immediate reduction in soreness and redness. Its important to keep the affected area clean and dry.
