What to do about a difficult mom?

get over it. you shouldn’t be doing something illegal. she’s making you realize that even the littlest mistakes can have large consequences. you have a whole life ahead of you to make other plans.

She is just traying to keep you proteected to have a clean record and all… the best thing to do is just follow all the rules and do what is illegL MEABY THEN SHE WILL SEE EVERYTING THAT YOU ARE DOING AND THAT YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE ( sorry caps lock) Anyway… just try to show her how responsible you are and all and she will see she dosent need to watch out for you every second…

I agree that you should show her that your responsible by following simple rules. How hard is it to put on your shoes? Some parents are more strict than your mom is, trust me. About your phone, if she does take it away next time, make sure you regularly delete your text messages if you really dont want her to see them.

I have a semi-simuler situation to be honest… me and my mom fight… maybe I did the best thing in the world (cure for cancer) and the next day I get a bad grade… and she will take away my phone for the reason that she knows its my life line… im only 15.. maybe I get to expirence what your going through some time eventually… but my only advice is… 1 more year. :) your gonna be 18 and BAM gone… she’ll be calling your phone “come visit me” you can say “im grounded”… I don’t know.. that was my bad humor… :) good luck.
