What states has soft to semi hard water?

I’m looking to move to a state with soft water to semi hard water (soft water preferred of course) I’m sick of having to fix or buy new filter all the time because of the hard water (I’m not use to having to deal with hard water)

What’s the best filter for hard water? (I still need a great filter until I move) & Can you list states with soft water to semi hard water? (I’ve tried to Google it but I can’t find any info on it… :S)

Thanks so much!! Also I’m not sure where this goes so I hope its in the right place…

Answer #2

I’m not moving because of the water I’m moving anyway because I’m getting my first home (Once I decide on what place fits my lifestyle etc.) & moving to a place with soft water or semi hard water would be great!!

Oh & is water softener really safe for your hair etc.?

Answer #3

That isn’t a matter of which state you live in, it’s complete dependend on the type of geography, rainfall, aquifers, soil. You can move from place to place in one county and get different qualities of water.

Why not just invest in a water softener…gotta be cheaper and easier than moving.

When I worked in the Boston area for three weeks, I noticed the water everywhere was extremely soft. I loved it.
