What size earring do I need?

I bought a curved barbell earring for when I get my tragus peirced but I’m not sure if it’s the right size. What size do I need and how do I determine what size I have?

Theres no size you HAVE to start at… and if I were you…I would clean the hell out of the jewelry you got if it didnt even have a size on it where you got it. Be safe with that stuff… My ears got an infection when I had them stretched to an inch because I wasnt smart with my jewelry… now they are messed up. Dont know if that helped at all :)
