What should you ask the parents when you take a babysitting job?
What is a good checklist of things to find out BEFORE you agree to babysit somebody’s kids? I am talking about if the people are 1) relatives, 2) friends or your family, or 3) neighbors.
yes, alergies and eergency numbers… along with already set rules what parents prefer for them to eat friends allowed over?
ask if the children have any allergies and for some emegency numbers or contacts.
what time will they come back
tell them whether or not you do pay deductions if they come back early
how often do they want you to feed the kids (snack times for example)
are the kids allergic to anything
are they allowed to have bubble gum or make their own snacks (age depending)
what dvds or channels can they watch on tv
is there a number you could reach them at anytime in case of emergency
how do they want you to discipline them if they fight or break something or disobey you
what items or rooms in the house are off limits to you or everyone (coffee, cds, dvds)
