What should I do to tell him how I feel?!?

Okay so yesterday night I got a message from a guy I’ve liked for a year.. and it said “let’s go out”.. I was in shock and all I could say was “what?” :( we never talked before.. I was actually yelling at some people when he said it xD.. all he answered was “I don’t know” and I was like “ok..” :’( I knew I embarrassed him.. I feel so stupid! but he is popular and I’m not.. cause there were rumors of me being bi.. even though I’m not.. how can I tell him how I feel and know he wasn’t just joking around with his friends? he never said ANYTHING mean to me. or anything even though his friends did. does it mean he really does like me?

the best thing is to always be honest, tell him how you feel but don’t make him feel uncomfortable and tell him you would like to go out with him.
