This guy im dating cheated on me

Ok so this guy im dating cheated on me! And now he wants to break up because its awkward and he cheatd like two weeks ago. So he said mayb we should just be friends and im supposd to anwser him when he gets back (he got in the shower) so I need help fast, I don’t know what to say if u’ve seen the icon when a guy says you can just be friends its like a dog dying and your parents saying you can still keep it thats how I feel I don’t know what to say plllz help

he is in the shower? sounds like make up sex is on its way. but after that say you don’t wanna be friends because ull be hurting from now on

I know it’ll be tough, but my advice is to leave him. Act as if you are better than that and you don’t care. Honestly, I think the whole “lets just be friends” is just a crappy line to make them seem not that bad. I went through the same with a girl. She cheated on me, then pulled the whole lets be friends with intentions of hooking back up… she still was after him. I know it hurts, because I loved her, but it wasn’t mutual and it isn’t for y’all either. So leave him, and don’t look back.

Plus, it’ll show that you are above being cheated on and it’ll drive him crazy. Maybe with the thought of him actually completely losing you, maybe he’ll realize what he lost and come back honest and true (but that isn’t a guarantee)
