What should I name my baby?

In about 6-7 months I am going to have my first baby. The gender is still unknown but I’d like to have an idea ahead of time. me and my boyfriend both have different taste. (He likes names like Mia, Sophia, Liam, Owen, etc. and I like unisex names.) I love the name Peighton, but a friend recently named her kid that, Landon as well. I like the name Kayden and my boyfriend thinks it’s alright. We’ve gone through so many names. I need help, give me ideas. And nothing like Apple, Piper, Lyric.. or something you’d name your pet please..

and how many people in this world do you honestly think have meanings in their names, faven? probably a lot but not nearly close to EVERYONE. I want a name I like, and looking in a book/on the internet/asking for other peoples opinions isn’t a BAD idea. that’s like telling someone they aren’t allowed to ask people questions when they want an opinion on an outfit, etc. and where in this question did I mention “wanting to get this over with”? no where. so please don’t assume. normally, people with unneeded opinions like YOURS faven, do not bother me. but when you actually have the decency to sit there and tell me that asking for ideas is “getting it over with”, I am going to get angry. I asked for opinions on NAMES, NOT HOW TO FIND NAMES. and for your information, my boyfriend and I have chosen names. and THEY BOTH have meaning. also, no where in this question did I say that I DIDN’T want anything with a meaning. so thanks faven, but next time, don’t give un needed advice !

ps. for all the people who recently answered this question and would like to know what I have chosen. Girl: Sophia Rae (Sophia means wisdom, and Rae is part of my name, which my boyfriend loves and thinks sounds good together.) Boy Kayden Daniel ( Kayden I chose because I’ve always loved that name and Daniel is the name of my boyfriends favorite uncle who lives in england.) thanks for all of the ideas, very appreciated !

Answer #4

you should NEVER go online to ask people what to name your . Birth isn’t just an event to get over with. It’s another living creature coming into this world. I recommend you and yo you are husband name it not some random people on a website. >.< besides it wouldn’t be a good story to tell to your child once it’s grown up that “oh I got your name from a website”. Just saying :)
