English spinger spaniels are a wonderful breed. We have three and I would never live without one now. Thye are very loyal dogs :)

Go to your local shelter and adopt a really sweet, cute puppy that needs a home. You will save that puppy from certain death.
Yup go to the local shelter or petfinder.com and keep searching till she feels that conection. Make a list of what you want and don’t want in a dog, make sure you talk about these things because certian breeds do require things others don’t. example Grooming excerise lots of land not much land health issues brushing. and so on, so yes adopt but make sure you know what you want and why you want a dog.
