What should I do with this guy?

He is probably still pretty hurt when you ignored him, so it’s likely that he’s kind of trying to get revenge by ignoring you. He is probably also trying to send you the message that he doesn’t care (not that he necessarily doesn’t, but that’s what he wants you to think) which is most likely why he told your friend that he doesn’t think it’s cool that you like him. You could try having a talk with him, explain to him how you feel about him and what you would try to change if you got back together. Don’t be pushy, just let him know that that’s the way you feel, and then listen to what he has to say too. Best of luck! :)
