What should I do with my ex's clothes?

I’ll try to make this short, sorry if it’s not.

In the middle of August an ex of mine (boyfriend at the time) went on a camping trip with my family. After the trip we came back to my house for a bit and he left his plastic bag of clothes here, a grocery bag. A few days after that my parents told me we were moving 30 hours away, we aren’t now but at the time we were planning on it. So I told him about it and he was all “move in with me, stay here for me” type thing and I declined. Reason being, we hadn’t even been dating for a month and were obviously nowhere serious enough for that yet, we weren’t even in love. This really upset him that I wouldn’t stay here for him and drove him to completely stop talking to me. I haven’t heard from him since that, he blocked me on everything, yes I know, very mature (he’s 24-years-old!).

So I have this bag of clothes, I’m not a delivery service so I’m not taking it to him. He lives an hour away so I’m not making that effort. What should I do with these clothes? I’m tired of them kicking around.

clothes? haha what are you worrying about if he wanted them he would have come and taken them, dont be daft steph, BTW itll hurt his pride if he came and got them I mean theyre just a bunch of clothes… and no since he left them with you, they are yours so you can do whatever you like

Answer #2

well depends on how you feel!

  1. Burn them (rash I know, but fun)
  2. Give them to a charity clothes bin, because its easy AND good
  3. just plain chuck em out
Answer #3
  1. well if he has blocked you on everything and refuses to talk to you, I’m sure he doesn’t really care about getting back his bag of clothes.

  2. and even if he DID come back, no you can’t get in trouble for giving them away.. sure, HE might be angry.. but if you’re talking about him calling the police on you, they wouldn’t even bother with something so silly as giving away a few of his clothes. the operator would probably just laugh at him and hang up.

Answer #4

thinks Have I been watching too much Judge Judy? lol Thanks boy. =P

Answer #5

Give them to a Charity, it will give you a warm fuzzy feeling inside to know you’re helping someone else…

Answer #6

But what if he comes back someday for them? Cant he get me in trouble if I got rid of them?

Answer #7

burn em for good, or give em away to charity… O_o tough luck for him I guess…

Answer #8

Good point, thank you. :)
