What should I do if my laptop have been locked by an download file?
I downloaded an file in the internet and when I restart my computer… Its been locked up… I only use log off and it works…but the file that locking my computer is always showd at the start…
I have been deleted all the files that I have been downloaded but it never works… Please help
I think the file was a virus. Most viruses on their first run make hidden copies of themselves in different locations in the disk and add themselves to startup programs so they can start automatically with computer’s start. I would suggest you to remove the progarm from startup programs (it has got added to registry). You may restore the computer to a restore point that was created before the download. Hope it works.
