What should I do if I keep going back and forth between guys?

I’ll try to make this as short as I can..

I have been on and off with a boy I have known since I was 16. I am now almost 20 and I broke up with him about 3 months ago, and this is about the sixth time over those years.

I broke up with him so many times because he would not make me feel loved, he wouldn’t take me out on dates at all, and he would make me feel awful about myself. I dated different boys between us breaking up, but I kept going back to him because I know deep down, I love him still.

I just moved into my apartment at college, and I met my new neighbor. He is everything that I ever wanted in a boy. We went on dates after I left my ex, and he makes me feel so good. After only 4 months of knowing me, he even told me he really loves me and could see us getting married eventually. I feel like I might love him too, but I recently came home for Christmas and I hung out with my ex, and I realized that my ex changed in a good way.. and I know I still love him.

The main point here is: should I give this new boy a chance and actually be his girlfriend? should I go back to my ex and give him a SEVENTH chance because I love him still? Or should I move on? or maybe, I could leave both of them because I feel like something is wrong if it’s taking me this long to make up my mind.

I can’t keep making them BOTH think they have a chance. I don’t mean to, but that is just how it is happening.. What should I do!?
