You’re still really young, and though exercise is good for anybody, it sounds like you may be over-doing it. Your body is still growing, and its very likely that you’re not going to see any improvements in your gut until you’re DONE growing physically.

I say this because most teenage bodies (especially female ones) tend to not get the full benefit of exercise until they have grown up. I’d say you give it two or three more years and you will have the flattest stomach around!

Just don’t push yourself too hard.

One tip I can provide, though, is to drink just water and watch your Sodium (Salt) in-take with foods and drinks. (Just check the nutrition facts on the box.) All foods and drinks have some level of sodium in them (especially diet drinks), so expect a little, but if you’re getting tons of sodium every day, then it is likely your body is retaining a large amount of water in your fat cells. Cut out the sodium in your food and drinks and you’ll start noticing your body starting to lean out.

I had this problem when I was a kid too. Things changed after I hit 18, but didn’t really start to improve until I started watching my diet (I still eat LOTS, its just good for me), my sodium intake, and the sodas I drink.

Also, keep in mind that you DO need SOME salt to stay healthy, so don’t obsess because you’ll end up hurting yourself.

Good luck sweet-heart!

I have the same problem but its not been all my life, its nearly a year though. I’ve tried everything, I thought it was a wheat intolerance and tried avoiding bread, rice and pasta etc for a week as a test and didnt make a difference. Thats my only suggestion ! Hope it helps ? xx
