What should I do about my bedroom?

My bedroom isn’t overly huge, its not too small, but it’s very cluttered. I like being minimal but I just have too much clutter and stuff and it makes my room look messy. What can I do to hide all this clutter, but to not throw all of it away?

You could invest in buying a storage unit. It doesn’t have to be big and clumpy, there are so many different styles these days so you can find one to fit your room. Sorting your belongings will really help. Different drawers in the storage unit for different things. You could also buy a bookshelf for books or school books. Putting pens in pencil cases will keep them together, You could put old toys in big bags and store them away. Buy boxes to put miscellaneous belongings inside, and store them in your wardrobe or garage.

You could make a photo-board and put old pictures of you and friends/family on it. You could also put cards, old notes, drawings etc on it so they don’t float around your room, but you don’t loose them.

Take everything out of your room, go through it all. throw away trash (old paper, broken items) then what you don’t use and/or don’t need either throw away, or put in a box to sale in a yard sale/fleamarket, or donate. Then the things that you dont need or use that you don’t want to get rid of exactly but don’t need in your room, put in some kind of storage container and put in your closet or attic, or some place like that.
