What will this do to my hair?

I just died my hair on the weekend a a brown black color. I also bought a blonde streaking kit. I’ve never done this before in my life so, my question is if I died my hair dark brown and now I want to put the blonde it what will it do to my hair? And when I do it and put the cap on, what holes do I poke through or what not??…

Please help I dont know who else to ask!!!

dont use that cap for starters. it doesnt work good. it pulls all kinds of strands through and you will end up with random streaks in your hair. your hair will most likely turned orange not blonde bc of the recent dye color. go get some hu,an hair extensions and glue them in. thats the safest way in cause you hate it and the dye comes out bad.
