He confuses me, does he like me or not?

So theres this kid right and I really like him. He told me he likes me and weve kissed before. But sometimes he acts like a jerk w| me. He tells me he misses me and wants to see me but when we make plans he ends up ditching me because he’s too lazy to walk to North Bergen which isnt that far from Jersey City. I really like him and I dont know if he still likes me. Its confusing. There are days where he texts me and says he wants to kiss me and see me. He sometimes acts really sweet like he told me im his princess and yesterday when I told him this senior in my class called me a cutie (im a freshman) he put a sad face and I asked whats wrong and he said that im HIS cutie. Now idontknow what to do. Im really confused.

I tried to write it as clear as possible. I stink at explaining my promblems.

Why dont you just ask him??

If he says that he likes u, than ask why he acts like a jerk sometimes.
