Should I go to this new school if my friends aren't?

u can see ure firends when not out school and talk to them on the phone but if its goin be good for your futre you and your firends should understand

The school sounds really interesting.

I think working is a good experience for kids and it sounds like this is a way to do it without impacting your schoolwork.

I know you want to keep hanging out with your friends but you have to do what is best for you. Are your friends not planning on going to college or are they not worried about the expenses? If your friends are slackers and you are ambitious than your paths will part sooner or later; if this is the case you are just postponing the inevitable by not changing schools.

How is the new school academically? Would you be giving anything else up by going to the new school? My guess is that since the students at the new school are college bound that it may be superior academically to most schools.

You have to do what is best for you. You will make new friends at your new school.

Heres the thing! if you really like the school that your going to now and all your friends are there but you don’t think ur parnets have enough money to put you thourgh collage then me being the worry wart that i am would go to the other school. its where ur prorities are it you think your education is set then don’t worry bout it but if you don’t think your not going to be able to get a schoolership or have enough money then go to the other school. friends will stay with you, in your heart, but time flys it waits for no one and thats what people forget. you think your set and going somewhere but your still on that tredmill going nowhere! then you got a one bedroom apartment and 5 late payments and you come here to get advice when you know its to late! don’t waste time life dosn’t wait!
