What should I choose for the military?

I know I want to join the military, but I don’t know what to chose, there the Army, Air force, Navy seal, coast guars, and marine, and whole buch of other stuff. I like flying, but I also want to be an infatryman.I have always wanted to die for my country.. im not saying im going to die, but I want to be in the miltarry to serve my country. my dad is in the coast guard. but I think I either want coast guard, air force or army. please help

I am proud of you for wanting to serve your country. I would personally like to thank you for the service that you are about to provide for all of us.

Now…

Don’t believe anything that your recruiter tells you about steering battleships or flying helicopters. You have a better chance of winning the lottery in the next 20 years than you do of being a SEAL or fighter pilot. For every Armed Forces commercial you see, there are 1000s of people who do the everyday logistical work that it takes to support our troops.

Join the Marines. It will teach you to shoot accurately, and it will teach you life - long self discipline. Plus, you will have a much better chance of seeing combat instead of driving a mop on an aircraft carrier.

Just remember, The Service is not a game. It is very real, and the decisions you make in the next four? years will affect the course of your life forever.

mop car on a carrier is safe you could anything on ship be plumber chef anything but if you go into any branch of the militatry be sure to learn a useful trade to help you later in life I would say dont join the marines talk to the Navy and the Air force because they have the best schools think about your future and hope it doesnt end in some desert in the middle east

@ Lovelaughlive, but I want to help out in the wars so if killing is necessary, I will have to do it. like I said I am willing to die for my country, I have been to a couple of lectures, some on Vietnam and it just got me thinking,I am sure that I want to be in the military. I just don’t know what type of armed forces I should be in?

Just go talk to recruters. Talk to the navy and marines.
