THE TRUTH: any type of smoke going into your lungs is bad for you. we werent put on earth to smoke. Cigarettes have a lot of chemicals added to them, so there for it is worse. But Marijuanna has a lot of resin in it which sticks to your lungs. Why do you think you cough so hard when you smoke weed? Not because its some good stuff but because it is producing a lot more smoke which burns smoothly and goes into your lungs. Your lungs are like sponges that absorbs everything going into them. Smoking anything period is bad for you. I used to smoke weed and cigarettes. Until I started getting smokers cough and hacking up nasty stuff. kept doing it anyway, until I started getting bronchidis (however you spell it) then I started getting pneumonia. After the second time of getting pneumonia I quit everything. It has been 2 years since I’ve smoked either one and I no longer cough I no longer get sick I can run up and down the stairs 10 times without running out of breath. I smell good my house smells good my hair smells good my clothes smell good I dont smell like a ash tray where ever I go. Im a lot more active. I can play sports and have no problem. Dont feel like my chest is going to explode. im so glad I quit. you should to!! I loved smoking weed because it made me feel way more relaxed and stress free. and if I didnt have weed I would smoke cigarettes as a back up. But now I just go take a walk or doing something to keep my mind off the things stressing me out. Smoking is very bad for you. I dont care what people say “ohh weed is good for you, it makes you feel happy, it doesnt cause cancer like cigarettes do.” I have a lot of pot-head friends that try to tell me im wrong but using common sense, any smoke going into your lungs is bad for you. If they told you the smoke burning off a candle was good for you would you smoke it? lets roll up some wood chips and smoke those to. Or how about ashes off a fire mise well roll that up in a blunt and smoke it. I mean honestly people are stupid to think smoking anything is good for you. Just because it doesnt have serious side effects like herion or cocain or meth doesnt mean its not bad for you.

whoever died from smoking weed is a loser! lamo.. thats histerical.

Answer #3

Both are unhealthy the one thing about cigarettes that is better is the filter it removes a lot of the tar and chemicals from reaching your lungs however since they’re made with processed tobacco which is usually covered in a wide variety of chemicals for the purpose of preserving and flavoring the tobacco you get small amounts of cyanide, carbon dioxide, arsenic (a chemical in rat poison) and many others so obviously not good at all, but the filter like I said removes a lot of it. With weed you’re getting all of the chemicals, tar, etc.. Which the smoke from marijuana also contains carbon monoxide and many other various toxins. Either way your look at it smoking is bad. I just recently quit smoking weed and cigs, my lungs have never felt better, for weed I use a vaporizer for cigs I got an e-cig, I’ve honestly enjoyed them both a lot. Though I do miss my cancerous delights my lungs have never felt better and the alternative ways of “smoking” are quite enjoyable. Making pot filled treats is also fun as well, nothing like some hash brownies.

Probably cigarettes because a person can smoke a lot of those in a day (haven’t met a person yet that smokes 25 or 30 joints a day)…either way, it’s the smoke that kills ya (like living in a forest fire day and night)…so weed comes in a close second.

Answer #5

cigarettes are 100 times worse there is nothing wrong with smokeing weed I have a medical marijuana card for my bipolar disorder and it really does work im all for legalizing marijuana and people are right no one has ever dies from weed but plenty from cigarettes and alchohal

Answer #6

there is absolutley nothing wrong with WEED. no one has ever died from smoking marijuana but millions die each year from smokin cigs.

Answer #7

They both contain known carcinogens. Just because it is natural does not mean it has no link to cancer. Sunlight is natural, yet we all know the strong link between sun tanning and skin cancer. Just some food for thought.

Answer #8

Weed isn’t WAY SAFER for you. It’s still a drug (just like cigarettes) and it messes up your lungs (just like cigarettes).

Answer #9

I would say ciggarettes as a lot of the 2000 plus added chemicals cause and contribute to cancer and other diseases and a lot more people smoke ciggarrettes than weed

Answer #10

Both are really no good but cigarettes are processed, have really nasty crap added to it, and can even have things like rat poison found in them that was used on the plants and never really removed fully. So they are a little more nasty, how ever weed as you put it, never really has a filter ether but I would bet still that it would be a little better. But that is like asking which is better being shot or staved…

Answer #11

cigarettes are worse than weed. weed definately isnt bad. its a plant. it doesnt give you cancer, or burn holes in your lungs, or even make it so you have to breathe through a whole in your throat…

Answer #12
