What's In A NAME ? - students of faith

God is God, and He has many names, but the most important thig about Him is He is God.:) He doesn’t care if you know all the names and use them in the right manner, just make sure your love Him with all your heart soul mind are strength. We are a spirit, we have a soul(mind,will,emotions) and you live in a body. Just let God go deeper in a relationship then worrieing about everythjing else.

Jehovah… because it lends itself to the etymology correlating to Jove… one iteration of the Roman god Jupiter.

In my opinion there is a duality of chief gods described in the Old Testament… Saturn/Satan and Jupiter/Jehovah… it is hard to distinguish when the protagonist changes identity… but the attributes associated with these Indo-European gods seem to resonate with the characters of the chief gods of the Old Testament.

Seeing as how there are many gods… in this world, it is important, now, more than ever to refer to the God of the Bible, ,or the God of Abraham, Issaac & Jacob, or any of the other names that he has been referred to, that are listed within the bible.

Everybody serves some kind of a god, even if it is self, making it important to identify who your God truly is.

well I believe in God and a lot of other things but I am not a part of any one religion. I just call God God or the Whole . But when I look through those names I am most drawn to Yahwe and yaweh and ones like that. no idea why!
