what's a freshmen??

this is probably a dumb question… but what is a freshmen?? like at schools I think?! I go to a steiner school. so it’s differnet

Freshmen is the lowest grade in High School. So in my school, it is the 9th graders that are freshmen.

It means someone in their first year or high school - 9th grade. It also means someone in their first year of college

A Freshman is a 9th grader. A Sophmore is a 10th grader. A Junior is a 11th grader. And a Senior is a 12th grader. A Freshman is usually the first year of High School. When your a Senior at the end of the year. You graduate.
