I hope you do not take offense,

'Tis only that it's my two-cents,
And not one penny more. §;o)

Religion is not the same thing as ethnicity; you don't automatically inherit it from your parents. Religion is a private, personal matter that is completely your choice. I agree with imprettycool0 except for the part about talking to someone at your church about it. People at church tend to have agendas; It's unlikely you'll find anyone there that is going to encourage you to research and find your own beliefs independently (possible, but not likely).
It is based on what you believe...I have parents from different religions just as you do...mother Catholic and father Protestant...my family choose to go to a Catholic church my whole child hood...I was baptized, and confirmed Catholic...some time in the 90's we converted to Lutheran. I have gone to the Lutheran churches for 10 years now. I am a believer in the Lord and Jesus Christ so I categorize my religion as Christian.
Its all based on what YOU believe. Not your parents. Which church do you feel comfortable at? Which do you understand? What do you believe in? Talk with someone at your church about it!
""religion can never be half this half that at the end of the day its what you feel comfortable with""
Why not if thats what you believe then so be it.
If you don't know what religion you are, then you are not any religion. Religion is not a skin color, it's a system of beliefs.
religion can never be half this half that at the end of the day its what you feel comfortable with
New flash...Catholics are Christian...so there ya have it...You can just call yourself one.

Your what ever religion you want to be. Or no religion at all. Its your choice
