What part of new york is the nicest?

The upper east? Upper west?

Lower east? Lower west?

I would love to know because the apt. Monica& chandler had on f.r.I.e.n.d.s. (tv show) was amazing… Even though I know it was a set, I would like to know what side they lived on.

upper east side is the richest with nicest apartments upper west side is more hip like clubs etc midtown has good shopping like soho and spring street 5th ave is the most expensive shopping with a bergdorfs and a saks etc

I’ve heard many people say all of New York kinda sucks. But that’s just statistical opinion. I’ve never been there myself so I can’t say. If you’ve got the means go there and move around a bit. Find that elusive ‘’nice part of New York’’ for yourself.
