What Kind of Good cheap P.A system would I need

Alright soo me and friends are starting a band.. and I need to get me a P.A system as the singer.. but I have no clue what that is and how it works lol. could someone help me out?

I imagine you will be practicing with it and then possibly playing out with it , if and when you guys decide to play out, if you need a sound system some clubs have them some don’t. Some promoters will get them for a night, but if you have a sound system it can help you out and can even make you a little money later on down the road. Start small within your budget. you can always add on. In Fact in my Experience you will be adding a lot. equipment is costly, but playing live is better than any drug there is. That might just be me though.

im not suree cause the venue I play at I think they have a soundboth mixer dude but I don’t know. . but thanks for the help I appreciate it

Phonic Powerpod 620 Plus / S712 PA System on Musicians Friend $349.99 Might get you started. Sometimes you can find used equipment in the paper or something if that’s too expensive.

PA’s come in many different sizes, and for all different needs, and of course at all different costs. Since you will be playing live music you need a PA geared towards this. Since there are some set up for live music and some set up for pre-recorded music, (Mainly used by DJ’s). That is your first step. Next…

well its gonna be a pretty heavy band like screaming and what nott . soo hardcore type and probably one singing vocals and one screamer.. and not much really just trying to figure this all out then probably get a job for it
