There are SO many different career fields out there that making a list would be almost impossible.

Now, in today’s financial climate, anyone and everyone is at risk because even major corporations, no matter what you do for them, are trying to file for bankruptcy. However, the best thing you could ever do to secure a good financial future for yourself is to find something that interests you, and get a degree in it.

You can find stable jobs with anything from programming, political science, adult education, computer sciences, art, biology, agriculture, management, and so on…

Also, if college isn’t of any interest to you, working your way up is an option. For example, I’m working in call center right now for a satellite company in the training department. While I came straight into this department with my degree, I’d say about half of my department started with the company on the phones, in an entry-level position(basically meaning no experience or higher education required) and just worked their way up over the course of a few years.

Honestly, whatever interests you, whatever you have a passion for, just work hard and if at all possible go to school for as long as you can, and you’ll always be able to find a good way to get paid for it.
