what is the Vaginal odor right before and after my menstral about?

Ok so I have had this problem for over close to 3 years now maybe less. and I’ve gone to the doctors and havent found anyone who has the same problem. I take very good care of my hygen espceially down there, so for the life of me I cant figure out whats going on. Right before my cycle even starts I get this extremely strong smell, its not a fish smell its more like a strong 3 day left over urine smell or amonia smell, it goes away while I am on my cycle then comes right back towards the end and then I dont have it again till my next cycle. I not to long ago had an abortion and there is no tampon stuck in there nor an STD because they tested me. I’ve gone to my gyn and he saids its fine. But really…no I DONT THINK SO!!…does anyone have any idea what I am talking about if so what can I do!!!
