What is the reason behind my beeping Dell adapter?
I have a dell inspiron laptop and the adapter that goes to it, last night the electricity went off but my adapter was plugged into a surge protector. When I took it out of the surge protector the morning after it went off and went to plug it into another outlet, the light on the adapter didnt come on and it made a beeping sound. after about 30 minutes I plugged it in again and it was fine. Did this happen to anyone else? and is the adapter going to be fine or did something short circuit. Or is this just something that normally happens with them and is totally unrelated to the elecity going off.
From what I see online, it could mean that one of the connections was damaged at some point, but if it works now it obviously corrected itself when you unplugged it.
