Hi, I’m German native speaker. To hate is hassen. To have is haben. The declination 2nd person singular is hasst and hast. So ‘Du hasst’ (two s) is ‘you hate’. ‘Du hast’ (one s) is ‘’you have’. Pronounciation of ‘hast’ and ‘hasst’ is very similar. So the first lines of this song are basically a sort of a pun. Meaning is lost in translation.

Urgh people. For one, note that it is NOT you hate. It’s you have. You have asked me. It’s a play off of German wedding vows. You have asked me and I have said nothing.
