What is the facts about Britian and her former colonies?

I’m wondering what is the culture like in Britian is it similiar to what we see on the BBC or what? Also is there any relations with Britian’s former colonies? Also what is up with the tea thing, why not coffee?

I’ve lived in England since I was a toddler, I’m currently in Canada though. I’ve noticed quite a few differences; the British are a rowdy lot xD Especially in football games. Have you watched the Pacquiao vs. Hatton boxing match? The British were seriously lively. LOL, I love it. For me, britain seems more close-knit compared to Canada/NorthAmerica. Maybe it’s because the roads are smaller, and the houses are closer together, hehe.

The relations Britain has to its former colonies are fairly strong. Take India for example. England has a huge percentage of residents of Indian or Pakistani heritage. There are many places dedicated to Indian or Pakistani goods, and stuff. One thing the Indian’s have greatly contributed to our culture is through CURRY! Haha, yes. They were the ones that brought it to us.

Um, as for the tea. It’s more of a stereotype. Although, a lot of people do prefer it to coffee. It just tastes good?

;] hope it helped
