What is the best way to argue back?
My “group” at school is always arguing against one person in it. I get really annoyed becasue theres this one girl who is always right in the eyes of the others. They turned on me & I’ve got other friends but they keep having a go. I just dont know how to stand up to them or her should I say without looking terrible because she always turns it round or manipulates the situation.
just say that it’s you who decides who’s friends with you.
Sometimes blunt honesty is the best policy. Look the person straight in the eyes and tell the truth. Tell them what you told us, that this whole situation is childish and its annoying you and you’re sick of it. say I really hope that one day you grow out of this phase. I wish you the best. (say it a little coldly, but not too icey) and walk off with your head held high. This may mean the end of this group, but theres a good chance that the ones who started the drama will be left behind as the group eventually comes back to you. If not, they are not worth it.
Get a guy that is very loud because we are all good at reversing burns and making better ones:)
