What is the 3rd color uniform in soccer is for?

I know they have one for home another for away but what is the 3rd color uniform for? where do they use it? If you dont know what I mean take for example Barcelona, they have the red and blue for home, the pink-ish one for away and they also have a yellow one as a3rd color uniform..for what?

I think it is for when the home team and the away team have the same colour kit, in that case the away team will use the 3rd one I think…

Im not 100% percent sure buti think its for whenever they wanna wear it. Like when they get tired of the other 2. because in some of the club teams I’ve played with, whenever we have 3 uniforms we use the 3rd one whenever.

One is for Home, ones for away and the third is for if the home or the away colors are close to the other teams home or away colors.

third uniform in the soccer is for playing away games , when the opposition team also has the same colour of uniform similar to our away uniform(unless you don’t wanna wear home uniform when you go to play away games).
