What Is My Cat Doing??

Hi,

Lately when I have been letting my cat lie on my blanket, it has started well…

First is picks up a piece of blanket in its mouth and shakes its head.

Second it starts to purr or whatever and moves its front legs up and down, lifting them.

…Then it puts its bum down and starts to shake.

I think it is somehow getting pleasure from doing this.

Do you know what it isdoing?

My cat does it too. We asked the vet about it before, and they say it’s just the cat “nesting”. What they’re doing is the same thing they used to do when they’d try to get comfortable laying with their mother. They’re just making themselves comfortable.

I think its just having fun! I dont think its getting pleasure cats like to just play like that! your cat is probably just having fun

same here my boyy Toby, who’s a tomcat, ALWAYS does that! And he’s obsessed with his toy mouse thing… It’s hilarous!!

I don’t know all my cats that I’ve had did that. It’s funny though!
