What? is it true when you get your period you stop growing?

that doctor should NOT be working as a doctor if they think that because he/she is completely WRONG and there giving your neice the wrong information, advice and unecessary treatment a girl gets her period when shes going through puberty puberty MEANS shes growing getting her peirod is a sign that shes developing it doesnt matter if shes an early developer or a late developer NO ONE stops growing when they get there period thats as stupid as saying guys stop growing when there voice breaks (which is doesnt by the way) she will continue to grow untill shes 18-21 years old regardless of when she gets her period tell your doctor that the advice she gave our neice is wrong and suggest he/she educate themselve a bit more on puberty and periods even doctors dont always know what there talking about

The doctor isn’t right, sorry, but I still grew after I got my period and so did my friend. You do grow untill you are 18 - 21 depending on the person.

I have heard the same thing and I think its true because I was 5’1 when I got my period and im still same. Is it possible to stop her period I didnt know that :S
