What is it that makes us love someone?

I’m asking more about unconditional parental love and the love that a child gives to its parents and grandparents. I ask this because I have been lucky and have been able to see my grandparents on a daily basis for basically all my life because they have always lived really close but its not like my parents are really close to my grandparents and I’m just wondering how come I love my grandparents as much as my parents and as with most people. This is a totally random thought but I might aswell get it off my chest . . .

It’s called attachment, it evolved to keep the species going… caregivers love their kids so they’ll take care of them, and kids are attached to their caregivers so they wont just wander off, and they are well taken care of till they reach an age where they can take care of themselves…

when you’re apart, you cant stop thinking about that special person. and how you get along with eachother. and how it feels your meant to be together.

(:

Answer #3

It’s just the connection - the relation you have with someone says nothing about the condition of love you have, that’s completely fine to love your grandparents just as much as your actual parents.
