He gave me love and took it away

awww what an amazing poem!! - just had to say that =) I’ve been in the same posistion as you before…but about 3yrs ago…and I wrote a poem about it too…here it is:

*Shattered

It’s been two months, since we were through But why is it… that all I can think about is you? As I gazed into the sky, looking at a single star It’s making me crazy Just wondering where you are

I reached out to touch that heavenly face Hoping to feel the warmth of your embrace… But as I opened my hand…there was an empty space As I sighed and cried, Remembering how you had lied…

That day you took my hand, Told me, you wanted to be my boyfriend The way you looked into my eyes How you lied and said, “I won’t ever make you cry” And when I thought it was too good to be true You blew me off… And found someone new…

Lesson learned: “Let go..and let God”.. God placed our eyes at the front to remind us to look ahead and not behind! yeaaa… I noe it’s tuff… but honestly…he’s not worth the tears!! with time you’ll find someone better - I swear you will!! cause I did…a year after I broke up with the player in this poem… I met a guy and I’ve been with him for over a year now =)
