what, is it normal to be talking about marrige and having kids?

Me and my girlfriend are talking about marrige and having kids. I am 16 and she is 15, we are both deeply in love with each other and have been going out for about 6 months. She has told me that she wants to have a baby with me, and she is difforent then any other girl I have dated, I acctually love her. We have also talked about getting married after highschool.

I just want to know is it normal for teens to be talking about this stuff? And is there any advice you can give to me on what I should do.

Yeah, it’s normal. When I was 16, my g/friend and I even knew how many kids we were going to have, and what their names would be. It’s called “being in love.”

But, listen to all the advice ahead of me – enjoy the feelings, but don’t lose sense of the reality – you have a lot of things to accomplish before you should get married.

its exactly the same for me…only we arent going out im 13 and he is 15 (:O ) we have talked about children and how many, and getting married and like houses. Its just really weird. I would like to know if that is normal

but for you I would say it is because you are in love. But are you financially stable and mentally ready for everything that comes with a baby and marrige. it cute but finish shcool would be best see if you are still in love an live your life first before you get tied down.

I know yal in love but yal not ready for all that rite now but anything could happen just slow down you 2 have your whole lifes a head of you

Yes it’s normal! Esp. when your in love! hee hee But in all reality, you have to come back down from the clouds, and be realistic. What about college? Are you mentally and financially ready for all the things that come with marriage? Plus, you both have a few more years till you do graduate; you both might change your mind about getting married right after. You just have to remember what’s the rush? If you both love each other it will last through anything, and you can always get married later! :D Good Luck and I hope I helped at least some!
