Im really just curious :) What is it in soap that makes it bubble and foam?

well, in ancent times, soap was ashes mixed with fatty stuff…the fatty stuff will attrack oil, and the ash will attract other stuff…now the’ve discovered an alternatve to these ingredients…it bubles because of the fatty stuff in it…
