What is it,cold sore or outbreak?

I do have herpes,but I usually have atleast 1 outbreak per year. Im not really sure if that’s what I have right now or if it’s just a cold sore or dryed from the weather. It looks kinda red/pink’ish,started last wednesday. And has a crack in the corner of my mouth where it is. And it feels kinda like a stinging sensation. But it doesnt look like a outbreak.

Cold sores are a different strain of herpes. Not always caused from sexual contact or and sexually transmitted disease. Sometimes they come up from stress, an actual cold or just when lips get chapped. Theres a vitamin, I think vitamin B, that helps prevent dry and cracking skin mostly in the corners of the mouth. You may be lacking it.
